We offer you a small guide of how you need to measure your hand, so you can figure out the perfect size of goalkeeper gloves you need.
The process is quite simple and the most important measurement is the palm length. In many occasions the length and width are needed, but the most important thing is that the glove has a good fit to the fingers.
As you can see from the image below, you need to measure with a ruler, the length that goes from the base of the wrist to the tip of the middle finger. Once you have this measurement, you can go to our size guide and compare the size of your palm with the tables we have for the different ranges and cuts.
You have to keep in mind that normally Flat or Negative cut gloves are usually tighter than Roll Finger cut gloves. Therefore and for you to have a reference, if your palm is 18cm from the base of the wrist to the middle finger and in our table you are looking for a model with a negative cut, it can appear that your size is 9 for example. But with that same measurement if you are looking for a glove with a Roll Finger cut, the table can indicate that for that type of model and cut, your measurement would be a size 8.5.
The aspect of the glove adjustment is often quite personal, that is why we have different types of cuts. There are goalkeepers who like the sensation of feeling the fingertips of the glove and others who prefer that the glove not fit so tightly.
That’s why with this guide on how to measure your hand and our measurement chart, it will be very easy to find your perfect goalkeeper glove size, depending on the model and cut you want.
