How did you start playing soccer and more specifically start playing in the goalkeeper position?
I started playing when I was about 6 or 7 years old, as a player … but I always threw myself on the ground until the coach decided to put me in the net and since that day I have not moved from there.
Do you think that support for young goalkeepers is sufficient from brands?
Brand support to young people is very important, having a good work tool helps you feel better, HO SOCCER from day one has been aware of what you need at all times.
What model of goalkeeper gloves do you wear?
I currently use the Pro Curved model.
What size gloves do you wear? Do you modify your gloves in any way?
Normally I wear a size 10, I modify the closure, I prefer a simple closure and so that I can put my name, the flag of my home town and that of Spain.
What care do you give your gloves to always have them ready?
I like to take good care of my goalkeeper gloves, I never wear a new gloves, I always use them at least 3 trainings before games.
What has been the most important moment in your sports career?
One of the important steps in my career was the moment of the jump to the first division from Valencia Mestalla to the sports Alaves.
How do you overcome a serious mistake during a match?
I try to think about the game as soon as possible, I think that everyone can fail, and try to be better in the next play.
Do you have any rituals before or during games?
I like to put on the left hand glove first and touch the crossbar with my left hand.
What do you think of gym workouts and good nutrition? Do you consider it important for a goalkeeper?
I think that invisible work is very important, gym workouts and taking care of yourself with healthy food is essential for today’s soccer player, every year that passes players are much more prepared and the game requires that you be in the best conditions to compete.
