One of the soccer modalities that are becoming more fashionable, especially in our country, is beach soccer. Although it is a very different modality to the classic one because of the surface on which it is played, the equipment used is similar to that of classic soccer.
One of the goalkeeper glove models mostly used by beach soccer goalkeepers is the Futsal model. The trimmed fingers of this model and the comfort of the palm, make it perfect for this modality. But on many occasions beach soccer goalkeepers have opted for other types of fairly tight goalkeeper gloves.
The main problem that beach soccer represents for goalkeepers is the humidity and sand. When playing beach soccer, humidity causes the sand to stick to the palm of the glove. This can be avoided in part with a glove that has a synthetic palm, any Ho Soccer model from our training or competition range will help in this case. Using these gloves will make it easier for you to remove the sand much better and will give you a better grip. You will also have a good breathability, since the back of this type of model is quite good.
As for apparel used in beach soccer, normally shorts with protection and short-sleeved shirts, to be as comfortable as possible. Shorts with protections are advisable especially to prevent abrasion during falls. The use of elbow and knee pads is also very common among professional beach soccer goalkeepers.
Although it is a very different modality from traditional soccer, without doubt beach soccer is one of the most exciting modalities and one of the fastest growing.
